The River Po Delta. Writing on water and skies

Arturo Colamussi is a mechanical engineer, helicopter pilot and photographer. Most importantly, he is a great friend. When he had the idea to combine his skills and expertise for publishing an aerophotographic book, he asked for my help in writing the contents (here is the link to his website).
This book – the first of a successful series – captures bird’s eye views of the River Po delta and its wetlands, an absolutely magical yet forgotten part of the Italian landscape. Flying over those remote clefts of land, I discovered for myself the transparency of those remote waters and skies, where pink flamingos become miracles in the briny air.

Arturo Colamussi è ingegnere meccanico, pilota d’elicottero e fotografo.
