Pruning Japanese maples

This story of maples takes the first step in Wales, a land almost totally unaware of the noble strain. (Except for Acer campestre, the only British native, that in those lands shapes - together with other rustic fellows such as the hazel, the spindle, the blackthorn...

ABOUT GIULIO

Giulio Veronese earned the first plume in his cap by pulling out weeds from his grandma’s brick path. This episode made him think about gardening as a lucrative business. Over the years that impression has been subject to reconsideration, but his passion for plants and gardens still grew. Giulio has been professionally gardening for a few years now, pursuing a career in botanical and ornamental horticulture, in Italy as well as abroad. This blog aims to narrate the bond between Giulio, the plants, and their places.
