Hunting Japanese azaleas

These days I love to repeat that I have “one job and one hobby”. The job is based in an English Garden near Fukuoka, in southern Japan; the hobby consists of the parallel investigation into Japanese flora and gardens. Thus, while all my blood-toil-tears-and-sweat is...

ABOUT GIULIO

Giulio Veronese earned the first plume in his cap by pulling out weeds from his grandma’s brick path. This episode made him think about gardening as a lucrative business. Over the years that impression has been subject to reconsideration, but his passion for plants and gardens still grew. Giulio has been professionally gardening for seven years, pursuing a career in botanical and ornamental horticulture, in Italy as well as abroad. This blog aims to narrate the bond between Giulio, the plants, and their places.
